- Sony has revealed new versions of its PS5 accessories
- The Midnight Black Collection launches on February 20, 2025

Sony presented its Midnight Black Collection, a new coloring for a range of PS5 accessories launched next month.
As the name suggests, the Midnight Black Collection includes new classic black versions of the PlayStation Portal remote reader, DualSense Edge wireless controller, Pulse Elite wireless headphones, and Pulse Explore wireless headphones.
The entire collection is scheduled to be released on February 20, 2025, with pre-orders starting on January 16 on PlayStation Direct.
Sony has already provided the prices for each piece of hardware, which you can read below, and they do not cost more than the original white models, aligning with the leaks reported in November.
The PS portal, DualSense The Edge and Pulse Explore wireless headphones will cost $200, while the Pulse Elite wireless headphones will cost $149.99.

“Each Midnight Black accessory features a unique, rich shade of black, with stylish details on many buttons and accents like the PlayStation logo,” Sony said in the latest. PlayStation blog post.
“The Midnight Black design extends to the included charging case for the Pulse Explore headset, the charging hook for the Pulse Elite headset, and the carrying case for the DualSense Edge controller. The Pulse Elite wireless headset and the The Pulse Explore wireless headphones will also include a gray carrying case.
These new accessories complement PlayStation’s Midnight Black DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console covers, which are released in 2021 and 2022.
