Backup energy pioneer Bluetti was busy at CES 2025 introducing a trio of new home energy products. Here’s everything you need to know.
Bluetti Apex 300
As an excellent portable power source, the Apex 300 sports a capacity of 2,764.8Wh with a nice output of 3,840W. That should easily provide short-term home backup power or handle other off-grid scenarios like an RV.
The battery pack can be charged by many methods, including solar panels, vehicles, generators, and even EV stations. When using a regular AC outlet, Turbo Boost technology can charge the Apex 300 from 0 to 80 percent in 45 minutes.
The Apex 300 will arrive in the second quarter of the year.
Bluetti Energy Pro 6K
Made for residences or small businesses, the Energy Pro 6K is a whole-home energy storage system that integrates solar, battery, generator and EV power sources. Provides backup power during an outage and other off-grid situations. You can scale up to five Energy Pro 6K drives for extended power.
The system integrates with an existing roof solar system and allows you to store excess solar energy. During an outage, you can also use any supported electric vehicle or generator to power the battery without manual switching. It will also arrive in the second quarter of 2025.
Bluetti SwapSolar
Bluetti has always brought unique new ways to use portable power, such as the Handsfree 2 Backpack Power Station we reviewed before. The SwapSolar system consists of a portable power station and a refrigerator. The AC180T uses a pair of portable, hot-swappable batteries. Those can be removed and also used with refrigeration.
The MultiCooler is a combination refrigerator, freezer and ice maker. The ice is made with running water. With both batteries installed, the AC180T has a capacity of 1,433.6Wh with up to 2,700W of output. The station has four AC outlets, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports and a DC output.
The MultiCooler Portable Refrigerator is the AC180T power plant they are available to purchase now for $1,698. There is also a package with the refrigerator, power plant and solar panel for $1,999.
