Amazon is again bending and snapping up week in advance presentation slot for 2025, but its second year presentation will have some tweaks.
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) today, Amazon announced that it will hold its second annual preview presentation on Monday, May 12 at 6:30 pm ET at the Beacon Theater in New York City. The presentation, which will also be broadcast virtually, includes developments from Amazon Ads, a lineup of talent, and news from Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios, Fire TV Channels, Twitch, Wondery, IMDb, Amazon Live and Amazon Music.
The announcement marks a change in day, time and place for the company.
In its first year of presentation in the week of 2024, Amazon had a morning presentation on Tuesday, May 14 at Pier 36. The presentation took place on the same day as the event of TelevisaUnivision, which was a day effort, and the presentation of Disney, which has blown. off at 4 pm ET. By moving to Monday night, Amazon avoids any potential time clashes with the two companies.
However, the Monday of the initial week has its pillars. Fox typically hosts its presentation on Monday afternoon of the initial week; however, the company has yet to release details. Telemundo also regularly hosts an event on Monday nights following parent company NBCUniversal’s Monday morning presentation.
During its event, Amazon will also show how its advertising division helps advertisers reach an average monthly ad-supported audience of more than 275 million in the United States across its owned and operated properties and third-party publishers.
The company will look to increase that reach in 2025 by introducing limited ads on Prime Video in Brazil, India, Japan, the Netherlands and New Zealand. Prime Video with ads is currently offered in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In his first year at firstAmazon went through a traditional format, showing its upcoming offerings, including a Legally Blonde prequel, alongside a host of talent like Alicia Keys, Reese Witherspoon, Will Ferrell and Jake Gyllenhaal.
