The Apple Tim Cook CEO commented on the impact of Tariff Trump’s Tariff during the Call of Earnings in the second quarter with investors. While the iPhone manufacturer saw only a “limited influence” from the tariff in the March quarter, Cook said Apple could not predict what it would mean for the next quarter. However, if things remained the same, the company estimates that the tariffs will add only $ 900 million with its costs.
The Executive Director told the investors that this assessment was intended to provide some color and that it would only be held if the current global tariff rates, politics and applications did not change the Saldo Saldo Saldo and if new tariffs were not added.
Cook warned that this assessment should not be used to design the influence of tariffs in future quarters, as there are “unique factors” they benefit from June.
IN Interview with CNBCCook also reduced the influence of tariffs, noting that Apple already gets about half of his iPhone for the US from India, and most of the other products for the US market from Vietnam.
When an investor pressed him to offer more details about a June quarter, Cook said, “I don’t want to predict the future, because I’m not sure what happens to the tariffs.”
He also said he would not want to anticipate a mixture of production in the future.
“For our part, we will manage the company the way we always have, with thoughtful and intentional decisions, with an emphasis on long -term investment, with the devotion to the innovation and possibilities it creates,” Cook said. “As we look forward, we remain sure, sure that we will continue to build the best of the world’s best products and services, convinced of our ability to innovate and enrich our users’ lives, and convinced that we can continue to lead the job that Apple has always separated.”
