Apple TV+ Is Completely Free to Watch for One Weekend Only



After teasing a free Apple TV + weekend for a few days, the company has finally announced the details. And the headline news is that Apple TV + will be completely free to watch on January 4 and January 5, 2025. Give yourself a whole weekend to watch as many TV series, movies and / or documentaries as you want.

Apple is offering Apple TV+ for free this weekend

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Apple announced that Apple TV+ it will be completely free to watch for one weekend only. On the first weekend of the year (January 4-5), anyone will be able to stream any of the many shows, movies and documentaries available on Apple’s streaming service.

All you have to do is have the Apple TV+ app installed on one of your devices, and you can open it and watch as much content as you want over the two days. The Apple TV+ app is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, smart TV and game consoles.

To watch Apple TV+ for free, simply open the Apple TV+ app on your chosen device, and everything there should be free to stream on January 4th and 5th. It doesn’t matter if you have subscribed to Apple TV+ before and leave your subscription. lapse, or you have never subscribed before, you will be able to access the content for one weekend only.

This is the first time that Apple is offering Apple TV+ for free to anyone who has an interest in its programming. Instead, the Apple TV+ free weekend is designed to get you hooked on one or more of the shows, making it more likely that you’ll pay for an Apple TV+ subscription when the next season falls.
