CES 2025 highlights: 9 new gadgets you can buy already

As the Mashable team scrolls around the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this week, there’s a question that’s top of mind every time we visit a booth or attend a demo: “That’s cool, but when can I buy it?”

Many times, the answer is never. Many gadgets exhibited at the annual tech industry fair are just concepts and prototypes that won’t make it to market. (This Withings OMNIA smart mirror for home health screenings, for example? Yes, there’s a good chance it will never see the light of day.)

But sometimes the answer to this question is soon – or even now. Below, we’ve rounded up a list of five new products from CES 2025 that consumers can buy or pre-order immediately, from an AI-powered planter to a smart birdbath. We’ll be updating it throughout the week as more announcements go live, so check back often.

1. LeafyPod

Do you have a finicky pothos that acts like it’s perpetually under or over water? The LeafyPod is an AI-powered smart planter designed to tell you exactly what it needs to thrive. It has environmental sensors that keep tabs on soil moisture, light, temperature and humidity levels, and its built-in rainfall irrigation system can change its schedule based on current soil conditions. plant (Its companion app features care information and watering schedules for more than 100 common houseplants.) 2. Lymow One

You’ve heard of robot vacuum cleaner and the mop robotbut a new challenger is about to enter the arena: The lawnmower robot. If you’re lucky enough to even have a yard in this economy, one of your least favorite jobs is most likely mowing your lawn by hand. The Lymow One promises to take this task off your hands by doing all the dirty work itself, employing automatic boundary detection to keep your lawn looking immaculate. Although there is no exact release date, you can still back the Lymow One on Kickstarter as we speak.

3. XREAL One Pro AR Goggles

Augmented reality is still in the “early adoption” phase in terms of audience and widespread utility, but if you’re looking to dip your toes in anyway, XREAL’s new One Pro. AR glasses they seem to be the new standard. The newly updated wearable has a faster chipset with XREAL X1, as well as a larger FOV, higher maximum brightness, and a lighter design compared to its predecessor. You can pre-order the XREAL One Pro AR glasses right now – they’ll set you back $599 and are expected to ship in March 2025.

4. Birdfy Bath Pro

Bird lovers, rejoice, because the Birdfy Bath Pro is here. The smart camera-equipped birdbath does pretty much what you’d expect it to do: it lets you check on your avian friends as they use your birdbath to cool off. How adorable! It comes with two different lenses – a wide and auto-tracking version – and has the option for an AI analytics add-on that should recognize repeat visitors and take top photos. 5. JLab Epic Lux Lab Edition Headphones

JLab’s new pair ANC headphones it’s here in the Epic Lux Lab Edition. Joining the likes of Apple AirPods and the Bose QuietComfort line, the Labs Editions feature adaptive active noise cancellation, as well as an Aware mode. The headphones also feature 32mm high-fidelity dynamic drivers, spatial head tracking, wireless charging, and more. The JLab Epic Lux Lab Edition ANC headphones are priced at $199.99 and should ship in mid-February.

6. Loona PETBOT

This is no drill: the cutest robot at CES (by a long shot) is already available for purchase. Yes, you’ll have to shell out $500 (but at least you won’t pay the full price of $527.99). The AI ​​petbot powered by ChatGPT may at first glance look like another robot trying to imitate a dog, but it does more than imitate animals that want: “It can respond to commands, expressions and gestures; it recognizes the faces of and different people; adapt to their owners’ habits when they are via a companion mobile app”; writes Haley Henschel, Senior Shopping Reporter.

7. TCL QM6K QD-Mini LED QLED 4K TV

TCL released a new line of smart TVs on January 6: the QM6K. It’s the first release in the brand’s “Precise Dimming Series,” which claims to deliver image quality never seen before in the price range of these TVs. Various processing advances come together to create picture quality in what TCL considers the “Halo Control System”, with a native refresh rate of 144Hz, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos Support, and new modes such as the Dolby Vision Filmmaker mode and the Sleep Sounds mode. The TV comes in six sizes: a 50-inch for $749.99, 55-inch for $799.99, 65-inch for $999.99, 75-inch for $1,299.99, 85-inch for $1,999.99, and a 939.49. So far, the 65-, 75-, and 85-inch TVs are available for pre-order on TCL’s website.

8. Shokz OpenFit 2

Shokz OpenFit Earbuds are already a popular choice for those interested in an open-ear concept, but the latest iteration of the headset comes with some nice improvements. First of all, you get 11 hours of battery life per charge and 48 with the case, a good deal more than the seven hours per charge and 28 hours that you would have from the first generation. Along with that impressive battery, these headphones come packed with new drivers, multi-function buttons, and the ability to switch between two connected devices with the push of a button. The best of all? They are already available on Amazon for $179.95, the same price as the first generation of these headphones (and only $20 more than its current retail price).

9. Govee Mini Panel Lights

Interested in customizable smart lighting but can’t afford Philips Hue prices? Govee is your brand. Although they have long made products aimed at the Hue budget audience, the new Mini Panel Lights announced at CES they are anything but an obvious budget choice. The curved lampshade and 15 lamp beads help create a three-dimensional effect, while AI helps facilitate the installation process and create unique designs. At the time of writing, you can pick up a 10-pack on sale on Amazon for $65 thanks to an on-page coupon that takes $35 off the $100 price.

Honorable mention: Dell Pro line

Dell renamed its line of laptopsseparating into three distinct categories: Dell, Dell Pro and Dell Pro Max. With the announcement, the new Pro line is already available for purchase. Despite the similar naming convention at AppleDell Pro laptops aren’t necessarily for users looking for a little more power. Instead, these laptops are suitable for business users (hence their honorable mention status). The new options in the line include Dell Pro 13 Premiumu Dell Pro 14 Premiumu Dell Pro 16 Plusand the Dell Pro 14 Plus.
