Google will stop supporting early Nest thermostats on October 25


Google announced this week This beginning of October 25 will no longer support or publish an update of software for the thermostats to learn first and second generations. And it will completely stop launching new nest products in Europe.

This means that the owners of Nest thermostat published in 2011 and 2012 (as well as a 2014 version published in Europe) will not get updates, and their devices will no longer be supported in Nest and Home applications.
