The wild robot is based on the book of the same name by Peter Brown. It follows the unit ROZZUM 7134 (dubbed by Lupita Nyong’o), a robot stranded on a desert island. Unable to live up to his programming request by completing tasks for humans, ROZZUM – aka “Roz” – must adapt to his new surroundings and look to the wild animals of the island to fulfill his function. Some of those animals include a savvy fox named Fink (Pedro Pascal), a sassy opossum named Pinktail (Catherine O’Hara), and an adorable orphaned gosling (Kit Connor).

Is it The wild robot is it worth seeing?

If you cry easily, prepare the tissues. Mashable entertainment reporter Belen Edwards called The wild robot “A sweet (and yes, tearful) story of motherhood and connection, all backed up with some of DreamWorks’ most stunning animation to date.” She also said it’s “a perfect capstone to celebrate DreamWorks’ 30th anniversary.”
