Intel’s chief commercial officer and sales lead, Christoph Schell, resigns

Christoph Schell, Intel’s EVP and Certain Commercial Director, leaves the company after a two -year stay, According to the application with DIP.

Schell informed the Intel on Monday of his decision, and will resign on June 30 “to make another opportunity for his career” upon applying.

It is not clear who will replace Schell. Intel did not immediately respond to the comment request.

Schell, who also led Intel’s sales, marketing and communication groups, reported directly to the Executive Director’s Office, joined the company in February 2022. Previously, he was Chief Commercial Director in HP, EVP in the Philips Growth Markets and the leadership of the Brain Management in the Procter & Gamble.

Schell’s departure comes because Intel passes a dramatic transformation under the recently appointed Lip-Bu Tan Executive Director. Tan moved to spin of a company division in “Noncore” unitssold its majority stake in its Alterals Semiconductor Businessand straightened the executive structure of a technological giant. Also appointed a new boss of AI and made plans for a large decrease in the company’s workforce.

Earlier this month, tan mandate four days in the office for all employees (the company has previously allowed some hybrid and distant work) and announced This Intel would not reject his Intel Capital Corporate VC ARM as previously planned.
