NBC News and CNN Name New White House and Capitol Hill Teams

New president, new team: NBC News has unveiled the political team it will cover for the next four years Donald Trumpthe second administration. Peter Alexander continue to serve as chief correspondent of the White House, while Garrett Haake joins as senior White House correspondent, and Yamiche Alcindor and Vaughn Hillyard starts the campaign to become a correspondent of the White House. Kelly O’Donnell and Gabe Gutierrez are set to continue their roles as senior White House correspondents, while Monica Alba and Aaron Gilchrist remain White House correspondents.

Moving from the White House to Capitol Hill, Ryan Nobles is a step to the head of the correspondent of Capitol Hill, with Scott Wong and Julie Tsirkin Flanking him as a senior congressional reporter and Capitol Hill correspondent, respectively.

On the digital front, Peter Nicholas is prepared to serve as NBC News’ a former White House reporter, while Katherine Doyle will be the White House reporter. After following Trump on the campaign trail, Henry Gomez, Matt Dixonand Jon Allen will now cover his administration, and Sahil Kapoor will be on the Capitol Hill beat as a former national political reporter.

CNN also introduced their new DC team before Inauguration Day. Kaitlan Collins—who had already been named chief correspondent of the White House— will lead the troops and continue to anchor his 9 p.m. show. Kristen Holmes is the network’s new senior White House correspondent, while Kevin Liptak serves as a senior White House correspondent, Alayna Treene will serve as a reporter covering the White House, and Betsy Klein will be the network’s senior White House producer.

Meanwhile, the corresponding head of national affairs Jeff Zeleny will be on the White House beat focusing specifically on how his policies impact the nation. Anchor and chief domestic correspondent Phil Mattingly and corresponding Priscilla Alvarez it will exclusively cover the immigration policies of the incoming administration.
