NBC News and CNN Name New White House and Capitol Hill Teams

Ready for Primetime: NewsNation has unveiled a new primetime lineup starting Monday, February 10. Leland Wittert take over the 9 o’clock slot Dan Abrams recently vacant, while Elizabeth Vargas Reports fill the 7 pm spot with Vargas reaching a new multi-year deal with the network. The rest of NewsNation’s evening lineup remains the same.

On Call at ABC: ABC News found a new doctor to make house calls. Dr. Tara Narula has been named the network’s chief medical correspondent, and will report on health and wellness news across ABC News programs and platforms. Narula lately served as CNN’s medical correspondentand previously worked at CBS News as a senior medical correspondent.

Back in the Fold: CBS News is welcoming former president and senior executive producer returns Susan Zirinsky in a newly created interim executive editor position. In this role, he will oversee the network’s editorial standards, which have come under scrutiny in recent months, particularly after a controversial interview between Tony Dokoupil and author Ta-Nehisi Coates in October.
