When the hit song of 2024 shares a title with a product offered by your company, a collaboration just makes sense. Dunkin He finally caught his momentum in linking up with Sabrina Carpenter, the Grammy Award-nominated artist behind the pop smash “Espresso.”
The brand and the singer are joining forces on the Dec. 31 debut of “Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso,” a new beverage backed by a campaign encouraging coffee drinkers to “Shake That Ess.”
The place was created in partnership with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artists Equity and directed by Dave Meyers.
It depicts the launch party for “Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso,” in which Carpenter hilariously reacts to “an eccentric cast of characters — all enthusiastically shaking their ess,” with “Espresso” providing the soundtrack.
Dunkin noted that the act of shaking “reflects the real-life craftsmanship” behind the preparation of Carpenter’s signature boisson. He will be sharing more footage of the campaign on his social channels in the coming weeks.
The coffee chain is no stranger to celebrity-inspired drinks, including Charlie and the Charli Cold Foam with Charli D’Amelio; the Ice Spice Munchkins Drink; and a special menu from the MasterChef competition Nick DiGiovanni with blueberry donut iced coffee.
Dunkin described “Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso” as “a limited-time craft iced beverage that combines Dunkin’s bold espresso, notes of brown sugar and oat milk, shaken to perfection.”
“When we first introduced ‘Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso’ to Dunkin, it had to be more than just another delicious drink on the menu – we wanted to bring some lightness to the everyday coffee order of the hosts,” marketing director Jill McVicar Nelson. he said in a statement.
“Working with one of America’s most beloved pop stars, Sabrina Carpenter, adds a lively and fresh energy that aligns perfectly with Dunkin’s love of bold taste and good fun,” he added. “We’re showing guests that their new drink order can be both delicious and a nod to embracing the lighter side of life—exactly what Dunkin’s is all about.”
