The latest RTX 50 leak comes from Nvidia

It seems that Nvidia could be about to reveal its RTX 50 series GPUs, and now Nvidia itself is teasing that the new graphics cards are almost here. As spotted from VideoCardz, a video for the next Nvidia LAN party includes a brief look at a shaded PC that will be given as a prize, and if you light up the image, the GPU in the computer seems to be the one that is a new design.

See for yourself – I’ve included an image of the shadow version at the top of this post, but here’s our take on tweaking the image to reveal what’s hidden:

I admit I’m not an expert on GPU designs, but VideoCardz says that the design is “unknown” and that an RTX 5080 or 5070 Ti could be “among the possible candidates” for what is shown.

Leaks last month from Zotac and Acer has indicated that Nvidia may reveal up to five RTX 50 series GPUs very soon, including an RTX 5090, an RTX 5080 and a 5070 Ti. VideoCardz also reported today on a leak of an RTX 5080 from MSI with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory.

And Nvidia is not particularly secretive about the potentially imminent launch of RTX 50 series GPUs. The LAN party, which runs from January 4 to 6, is called “GeForce LAN 50”and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is set to deliver a CES keynote on January 6 at 9:30 PM ET.
