Here’s the Roundup for the Week Ending December 20

Happy Friday to all who celebrate. In this week’s edition of stories we haven’t published for one reason or another, we see the usual round of local reporters, which leaves me wondering, is it me or are they all retiring these days and a union pickets a Michigan station.

Reporter-anchor Taima Hall says he’s leaving WDJT after two years at Milwaukee’s CBS affiliate “to pursue new opportunities.” Here is the story.

The FCC fined KHQ in Washington $29,000. As part of an Order and Consent, the FCC renewed licenses for KHQ’s three Washington state TV stations. Click here for more.

From Gray TV’s men’s professional baseball news: The Atlanta Braves (Nasdaq: BATRA, BATRK) and Gray Media (NYSE: GTN) have agreed to a multi-year partnership starting in 2025 for Gray to simulcast 15 games of regular season alongside FanDuel Sports. Network, the Braves rights partner. Here is the press release.

Our friend over at FTVLive posted this: Here’s the year-end email from Scripps CEO Adam Symson to the staff. There is so much in this email that I want to comment on, but I’ll just let you read it and come up with your own thoughts. Again Jeff Alexander is retiring after 30 years at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Here is a video.
